Job Summary:

Help to build the Nkwanta Leadership Equipping Center – library, training center and student lodging. Participate in community rehabilitation projects in the town of Nkwanta.

Responsibilities:

Work alongside Ghanaian laborers to build quality facilities for the NLEC. Identify viable projects for the Ghana field to be involved in. Provide guidance and expertise as well as Christian friendship for the construction workers in the area. Learn Ghanaian construction methods. Opportunities for discipleship and evangelism all along the way as you work alongside the guys in Nkwanta.

Requirements:

Demonstrated skill in appropriate field - construction and maintenance, electrical/wiring, plumbing, etc. Willingness to learn Ghanaian construction methods. Ability to follow leadership as well as supervise and train others in construction and maintenance. Cooperative, dependable, industrious, adaptable, with stamina. Must be in good health and able to withstand the heat and humidity. Workers may arrive on site until mid-February 2009 or after June 2010.
